Biography or history
Penwarden, Trooper, Royal 1st Devon Yeomanry (Cornish Squadron), and 2nd Lieutenant, No. 142 Squadron, RFC (Royal Flying Corps) and RAF (Royal Air Force), serving at Gallipoli and in Egypt/Palestine, and held POW (Prisoner of War) in Turkey from 17 July 1918. Later Squadron Leader.
