"Reprinted for the first time from a copy now unique printed by Thomas Creede in 1597".
"Three hundred and ninety-four copies...have been printed on Batchelor's Kelmscott hand-made paper for sale in Great Britain, and one hundred and four copies for sale in America".
Title-page "set up, using the entry in the Stationers' register for the wording" precedes translation. Includes also facsimile of t.-p. of original translation, with title: The most delectable and pleasaunt history of Clitiphon and Leucippe; and reproduction of one leaf, "U4" (p. 151-152 at end).
