Description
The maps, which were drawn by R. Creighton and engraved by T. Starling or J. & C. Walker, are sometimes found interleaved with the pages of the Topographical Dictionary, and other times collected into a separate atlas volume, usually without a title-page--Whitaker: The Harold Whitaker Collection... Univ. of Leeds, 1947, p. 78.
This is an atlas without title-page which was presumably included with later impressions of the third edition of the Topographical Dictionary, after the surplus stock of maps from the editions of 1831 and 1833 had been used up. The maps have been brought up to date as regards railways--Whitaker, p. 78.
