Note on title page: "This improved edition shews the division of counties, boundaries of boroughs, polling places, and all useful & interesting matter connected theirwith, also the boroughs disfranchised, the population and assessed taxes for each county &c. &c. as by the recent Acts of Parliament, the whole taken from government authority."
Plate numbers have been added to the maps, and a few slight additions have been made to the railways since the edition of [1832]--Whitaker: The Harold Whitaker Collection... Univ. of Leeds, 1947, p. 75.
