Each map accompanied by a sheet or sheets of text.

Several of the maps are sharper impressions than in the previous edition of this year, as though the engraved plates had been recut. The text is printed on the backs of the maps, and the size reduced to 9 x 10³/⁴ in.--Whitaker: The Harold Whitaker Collection... Univ. of Leeds, 1947, p. 55.
