Description

An expansion by John Chamberlayne of "Angliae notitia", by his father Edward, first published in 1669 (NUC, BL).


With an engraved frontispiece portrait of Queen Anne. The text is continuous despite the pagination. With 20 final pages of index, errata and advertisements.


The second part has a separate titlepage entitled "A general list or catalogue of all the offices and officers employed in the several branches of Her Majesty's government... ".
