Title in engraved compartment (McKerrow & Ferguson 67; McKerrow 110).

Law reports from year books 1-50 of Edward III; period covered 1327-1377.


Running title: "Liber assisarum Anno primo[-quinquagesimo]".


Initials; side-bars. Leaves printed on both sides; black letter type.


Prologue by John Rastell, dated "An.5.H.8."


Colophon (leaf 326v) reads: "Imprinted at London in Fletestrete within Temple Barre, at the signe of the Hand and Starre, by Rychard Tottel, the XVj. day of Marche. Anno domini a verbo nato, 1580. Cum priuilegio ad imprimendum solum."


"Tabula placitorum Coronae" (2 p.) follows prologue.
