Description

One of two editions of the first edition year.

Foliation is very irregular. The binder has cut several folios (and presumably misbound others).

In verse.

"A continuacion of the chronicle of England", a prose compilation by Richard Grafton, has a separate titlepage with foliation commencing on Aa2.

Leeds University Library copy BC GB C16/17 HAR has the title details of STC 12766.7. It also has the continuation of Henry VIII's reign at the end in 14 folios, missing only CLX and verso with colophon. See STC 12768 for the other first edition in which the continuation is revised and omits most of the reign of Henry VIII.

Indexed in: STC
