Biography or history

Reid, J E. Private, 1st/14th London Regiment, and 2nd Lieutenant, 1st/6th Essex, and also Captain in the 1st Essex Regiment and the RFC (Royal Flying Corps), serving on the Western Front, 1914-1915, in Gallipoli in 1915, Egypt, 1916, and in the UK, 1918-1919. Later Lieutenant Colonel.
