A re-engraved titlepage from the 1651 edition of 'Leviathan' is bound between p.168-169. In some copies this is found facing the titlepage (OCLC). With a frontispiece portrait of Thomas Hobbes and 3 final pages of index.
'The life of Thomas Hobbes... ' is in part by John Campbell and is extracted from 'Biographia Britannica' (MacDonald & Hargreaves).
