Description

The City affirms its willingness to pay arrears to the Army, but points out the high cost of quartering and victualling soldiers, and the difficulty of collecting money owed. Fairfax answers that if there are further delays "the consequences... will be very sad". The two Orders are for the disbanding of regiments, in order to lessen the burden on various counties.
