Various papers regarding his commission in 1914, his taking tractors to an Ammunition Park in France in 1914 and his service with the Tank Corps from 1917.

Egleston, T B M. Born in the United States and an Engineer by profession. Second Lieutenant, ASC (Army Service Corps), later in the Heavy Battery MGC (Machine Gun Corps), serving on the Western Front, 1914.
