Biography or history

Edwards, H N. Private, 1st/6th Battalion, Gloucester Regiment, serving on the Western Front ; Ploegsteert Wood; German Mines; Rescue of wounded Officer on the Somme; He was also a Machine Gunner. Later Lieutenant, then Captain, with the Tank Corps, 1917-1919. He was wounded on the Somme, 21 Jul 1916. Mentioned in despatches.
