Description

Collation: pt. 1: 8 p. l., 503, [24] p.; pt. 2: 7 p. l., 118, [5] p.

Half-title: Mathematical collections and translations: in two tomes.

The work was published in two volumes, 1661-65. It is rarely found complete, as most of the copies of vol. 2 were destroyed in the Great Fire of London.

The several works comprising pt. 1 are paged in one sequence. The "Systeme", the "Doctrine of holy fathers" and the "Epistle of P.A. Foscarini" have individual title-pages.

Pt. 2 has separate pagination. On the title-page to this part, the words "The second tome. The second part" should read "The first tome. The second part." The "Mensuration" has a separate title-page.
