Collective title from engraved title-page. Each book has an individual, printed title-page. That to Book 1 reads: "The first nook. The discovery of a new world. Or, A discourse tending to prove... there may be another habitable world in the moone ... The third impression. Corrected and enlarged ... London: printed by Iohn Norton for Iohn Maynard ... 1640". The title-page to Book 2 reads: "A discourse concerning a new planet. Tending to prove, that 'tis probable our earth is one of the planets. The second booke, now first published. London: printed by R.H. for Iohn Maynard ... 1640".
