Description

Probably the 1845 facsimile reprint of this pamphlet, but lacking modern title-page and memoir of the author. Originally published: London: printed for J. Rothwell, 1647.

A2 duplicated, bound in the order, pp.2,[1]; [1],2. The text on p.2 is identical, the plate on p.[1] shows two different states, the first plate having one line and the second seven lines of text below the portrait of Robert Earle of Essex. It is not clear whether this is an 1845 misprinting or a deliberate copy of an original plate. There are 18 plates in all, plus this one.
