Additional description

In this copy sig. Y is a short folding having untrimmed lower margins approximatley 3/16 narrower than in the rest of the volume. This fact, in conjunction with what appears to be ink-soiling of the lower margin of Y1r, suggests that the sheet, comprising pp. 161-8 is a cancel. With signatures E Frere and H.B.E. Frere [i.e. Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere, baronet] 1867 on title-page
