Description
Petition of 26 May for the suppression of heresy, for peace with the King and with Scotland, for an end to Parliamentary immunity to proceedings for debt, and other ways to reduce the financial burden on London. This version is considerably longer than the same petition addressed to the Lords, and has 17 points in the 'representation' instead of 14. Without a 'reply', but with the same order for printing from the Lords to Colonell John Bellamie.
