MS. pressmarks on engraved title-page. Upside-own at the foot of the blank recto of the engraved title-leaf is the signature Tho: Lear: , deleted price , and year 1683 struck through. Other contemporary MS annotations right way up on same page. Piece torn out of p.[19-20] of Index at foot, affecting signature and catchword. Badly wormholed from p.384-429, and less severely up to the end. Burnhole in margin of pp.97-8
