Description

Rider's part of the Dictionary was first published in 1589 as "Bibliotheca scholastica, a double dictionarie". The first part, English-Latin, was revised by Holyoake, while the Latin-English dictionary is almost entirely by him; it has its own title-page in Latin "Rideri Dictionarium severiore trutina castigatum...[etc.]".
