First written in 1819, but not published till 1832. The manuscript is now owned by T.J. Wise, with Mrs. Shelley's letter transmitting it to Sir John Bowring, printed on p. [51]-52.

The Introduction furnished the substance of a paper read before the Society, February 1887, and an article in the Gentleman's Magazine, March, 1887.
