Biography or history

Bevington, R J (d 1918). Private, HAC (Honourable Artillery Company), later 2nd Lieutenant, RFA (Royal Field Artillery), serving on the Western Front, Sep 1914-Jun 1915. He was commissioned by the RFC (Royal Flying Corps) in Feb 1916 and was a POW (Prisoner of War) in Germany and Austria, 7 Apr 1917-Nov 1919. Brother of 2nd Lieutenant C Bevington, RFC (Royal Flying Corps), who was killed in an accident at Beverley in May 1918.
