This work exists in 2 different states. The earlier state has 4 pages of preliminaries (a1-a2) and an advertisement which should be bound at the end as sig Dd2. ESTC and Foxon report copies with an additional preface signed b1-b4 thus giving 12 pages of preliminaries. The advertisement (sig.Dd2) states that "to the present edition of this book is annexed another, entituled, "The consecration and succession of Protestant bishops justified... By John Bramhall ... ".
