Description
A reissue of the sheets of 1687, with a new printed title and an engraved frontispiece title, both dated 1690, and an 'Epistle dedicatory' addressed to the Queen, signed: N. Tate. These preliminaries make up sig. ¹A (8 leaves). The original title-leaf and preliminaries to the edition of 1687 make up sig. ²A (4 leaves). Retained are the 'errata' leaf, which here follows sig. ²A4 (but reversed, so that the 'errata' occupy the verso), and Cownly's booklist on Ee2 recto.
As in the earlier edition, sig. H5 is a cancel, but sig. N contains the following errors in pagination (corrected in the copy of 1687): 198 (for 178), 199 (179), 202 (182), 203 (183), 206 (186), 207 (187), 210 (190), 211 (191).

Additional description
With armorial stamp on front cover and monogram consisting of the letters A, C and V on the back. On the paste-down at the front is the signature R. Windram , with the date 1862. The ink-stamp of this owner (a bookseller?), reading R. Windram, The Library, 20 Warwick St. (?), West Leamington , is on ¹A3 recto
