Biography or history

Ashton, R M (d 1917). Lance Corporal, later Second Lieutenant, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, attached to the 2nd/19th London Regiment. He served on the Western Front and in Egypt/Palestine, 1915-1917, and was killed in action on 7 Nov 1917.
