Dedication to Sir John Hewet, bart, preceding the Discourses, is an unpaged insertion signed *S, following p.[264].
The "Discourse upon Monsieur Pascall's Thoughts" has separate part-title-page, p.[265]. The author of this and the following "Discourse", Jean Filleau de la Chaise, is referred to by his pseudonym DuBois de la Cour on p.[327].
The "Demonstration", pp.368-375, is attributed to Pascal by Graesse, but is now generally thought to be by Filleau de la Chaise.
