This edition was published at the suggestion of King James I and the request of King Charles I to accompany the first ed. of the author's Pilgrimes published in 1625.


Separate t.p. for the Horsey and Methold works, p. [969], and for Erpenius' translation, p. [1009].


Many pages misnumbered.


The "three whole treatises" are: "one of Russia and other northeasterne regions by Sr. Ierome Horsey; the second of the gulfe of Bengala by Master William Methold; the third of the Saracenicall empire, translated out of Arabike by T. Erpenius."--t.p.
