The fly-titles (A1), have been cancelled in all volumes. --cf. Todd and Bowden.
In v. 1, page number 328 sometimes transposed to 238. V. 2, the title sometimes has no ',' at the end of the first line. -- cf. Todd and Bowden.
With half-title in each volume, and fly-title "The black dwarf" placed after the introduction in volume 1.
The final page of volumes 1, 3 and 4 is blank.
