The first work, "The anatomist", is Woodward and McManaway 961, i.e. the issue in which the second gathering is signed "a", and "Hodson" appears on a2v. In another issue of this year (Woodward and McManaway 961a (supp.)), gathering "a" is signed "a*" and "Hodson" is corrected to "Hodgson".


The loves of Mars and Venus has separate title-page, dated 1696, and separate pagination.
