Two variants: 1. Head- and tail-pieces on the preface usually shown as a sheaf of wheat and a basket of flowers; 2. Head and tail-pieces both have a face at the centre -- Foxon.
In most copies, p. 5, line 17 reads "stars up" for "starts up".
