Description

Epistle dedicatory signed: O.S. Possibly a pseudonym of Thomas Brown, of Shifnal, who contributed several poems, and to whom the editorship is usually ascribed.

First edition.

The author of the two Arthurs and the Satyr against wit = Sir Richard Blackmore. "Some of his particular friends" = T. Brown and others.

According to Case, 217 (a), there should be 30 pp. of text, with book-lists at the foot of pp.28 and 30. B.M., however, gives 28 pp.

At foot of p.28 is the word "Finis", followed by a rule and a four-line Advertisement inviting subscriptions to Job and Habakkuk, an heroic poem.
