Edition: one of two editions in 1723. Griffith (I,l,137), describes a copy with imprint "London, Printed for John Barber, and Sold by the Booksellers of London and Westminster, 1723".
Printing: titles in red and black.
Illustrations: engraved frontispiece and ornaments by P. Fourdrinier; portrait by G. Vertue after G. Kneller; one ornament engraved by B. Baron (vol.1, p.335).
Paper: watermarked: Strasburg bend and lily.
Includes Some account of the revolution and A feast of the gods, which are cancelled in some copies, because they gave offence to the King.
The tragedy of Julius Ceasar altered and The tragedy of Marcus Brutus (v.1) have separate title-pages, dated 1722.
The "Monument" plate in v.1 (not in v.2 as in Griffith's copy) precedes Testimonies of authors concerning His Grace and hes Writings.
