Included (pp.23-5) is a mock "Advertisement" for a catalogue of imaginary medical books, probably by Fielding, and (pp. 27-46) an anonymous reprint of Dr.John Armstrong's "A project for the advancement of physic in this island"; it is not clear whether this work was ever issued separately.
"A.B., C.D. and E.F." refers to James Jurin, Sir Edward Hulse and Thomas Crowe.
A satire on the inhumane treatment received for the stone by Walpole.
