Description

Satirical verse, written as from Pope to Walpole.

First edition, issue with a vase on title-page.

In the Dublin edition (also 1740) "By Alexander Pope" appears erroneously on the title-page (Griffith 520). Apart from the title, it has nothing to do with Pope.

Anon., by James Miller.

Indexed in: Foxon M235.
