Adapted from 'The island princess' by J. Fletcher. Music chiefly by D. Purcell. Libretto only.
The musical performers are not inlcuded in the Dramatis personae, but named in the libretto where they sing. They are: Mr Leveridge - Mr Freeman - Mr Pate - Mr Magnus's boy - Mrs Lindsey - Mr Bowen - Miss Campion - Mr Crossfield.

J.P. Kemble's copy, with his MS. notes on the title-page (1797) (signed) and p.47 (1793). Leaves inlaid, as is usual for Kemble's plays, and the last leaf laid down obscuring advertisements on the verso, and also a (legible) MS. addition, c.1700, Where you may be also furnished with all sort of plays and sermon . Small hole burnt (?) in p.7/8 affecting text on p.7. Inlay paper split on first and last leaf at margins. Pages cropped by binder, affecting signature after dedication and a few page numerals
