Description
Ballad opera.

Without the spoken dialogue.
Each song is preceded by a small engraved ill. of a scene from the opera.
Songs set for voice and continuo (figured bass), some with versions for the flute.
Imprint and each leaf refer to publication 'according to ye late Act' of October 29, 1737.
Dedication to John Rich signed by George Bickham Junr.
