Facsimile reprint of the Bale's edition of Leland's "New Year's gift", published in 1549, in the form that appears in Huddesford's "Lives of John Leland, Thomas Hearne, and Anthony à Wood".
Catalogued from reproduction of original title-page. Part title reads "Leland's New Year's gift to King Henry VIII".
Also included [pp.[106]-119] is Bale's "Regystre of the names of Englysh wryters, whome the seconde part of my worke, De scriptoribus Britannicis, shall comprehend as it cometh fourthe." Emprented at London by Johan Bale, 1549.
