Description
Edited posthumously by the author's brother (dedication signed "Iohn Daniel").
The first part is made up from unsold sheets of the 'Civil wars', 1609 edition (STC 6245), with leaf E4 existing in two states in different copies.
In complete copies, the first few leaves are as follows: t.p.; dedication; [A1] (engraved t.p. for 'Civil wars' (1609)); A2-3 (Epistle dedicatory); A4 (blank); B1- (text).
The first two leaves (t.p. and dedication) are unsigned and not conjugate. They were printed as Tt5 and 6.
Some copies retain quire A and others lack all or part of it.
