Cf. Clark, W.A. Early Eng. lit. 1920-25. v. 1, p. 73-74.

Love and Friendship first published 1665 under title: Ormasdes.

Only The siege of Urbin is new, this being the first printing. Pandora was first published (anonymously) in 1664 and reissued, along with Selindra and Ormasdes, in Three playes, 1665.

Each play has special title-page and separate pagination and signatures. The imprint on the title to Selindra reads: "... Printed for the author and are to be sold by Ric: Davis.

Indexed in: Wing K 458; Madan 2746;.

Additional description

Misbound in this copy is the leaf ¹H, carrying the epilogue to The seege of Urbin. It should follow ¹G4. According to Madan, the second signature * (poems praising the author of The seege; The author to the reader; The actors names of The seege of Urbin; Prologue [to The seege]) immediately follows the first, the special title to The seege (¹A) being placed after ²*4 and not, as in the Brotherton copy, after ¹*4. With bookplate of George John earl De la Warr
