The title-leaf is followed by "Aiij", then 4 ff. of which the second is signed A4.


"An epitomie of the liues and manners of the Romanie emperors... taken out of the bookes of Sext. Aurelius Victor" (39 ff. at end) has special t.-p. with title vignette.

Wanting final blank. Old pressmarks [?] on verso of 1st and 2nd front flyleaf (or blank). Signature Dr Samuel Bruce, March ye 29th 1711 on 2nd front flyleaf. Honoured Mdm upside down on last text page. Extensive wormholing at foot near inner margin, but not affecting text
