Illustrated throughout with engravings by J. Sturt.


Volume 3, NT was in fact published first (1701), but became vol.3 when the set was issued with general title-pages in 1704.


Volumes 1-2 paged continuously.


Engraved whole pages: (i) OT vol.1 has a general title for the whole 3 vols, as quoted above. (ii) OT vol.2, which has no printed title proper, has a special title "The history of the Holy Bible, from the revolt of the ten tribes to the end of the Prophets", with publisher but no date. (iii) NT has a separate additional engraved title-page. (iv) OT vol.1 and NT have a frontispiece facing their respective engraved title-pages.


A second (2pp.) publisher's booklist concludes OT vol.2.
