Description

The dedication signed: Joseph Gay i.e. Francis Chute. - With a half-title. - The imprint is false; in fact printed for E. Curll. - In this edition the catchword on p. 27 is "behold" and there is a floral ornament above "Finis." on p. 39.


Prefatory epistle "To the ladies" signed "Joseph Gay". This pseudonym was afterwards used by J.D. Breval, to whom the poem has been attributed.
