Added engraved t.p., with portraits, inserted as frontispiece, with title: A chronologicall history of the kings of France. Vols. 2-3 have title-pages with title: A chronological abridgment, or extract of the history of France (2Y2 and 4N4).
Errors in paging: p. 91-94 printed 3-6; p. 273 has duplicate number 274; pages 592, 805, 918 numbered 562, 705, 920 respectively; page numbers 190-197, 469-480, 663-664, 734-735 are omitted.
Signatures: [A1] B-6F4 a-p2 [N2 is wrongly signed Aa2, but there is no evidence of cancellation].
Wing E3407 (also M1958: "for T. Basset" [etc.]).
Additional description
Leaf Cc3 (pp.205-6) has its lower outside corner torn away, with loss of some text on recto and verso. On the free end-paper at front is the signature James Bulteele
