With Latin signature of ownership H. Milesii, 1723, etc., on title page, possibly that of Henry Miles, D.D. (1698-1763), dissenting minister and scientific writer. With label of New College, London, above which is the signature of Hugh Macdonald, possibly that of the Scottish poet (1817-60).
