Vindication, in verse, of "The weesils", by its author. Authorship variously attributed to Thomas Brown, Thomas D'Urfey, and Thomas Browne, B.D. Cf. Halkett & Laing (2nd ed.); Wing (2nd ed.); and Cambridge bibl. Eng. lit. "The weesils" was followed by "The Anti-weesils", an anonymous poem in vindication of William Sherlock.
