The "Recueil des rangs des grands de France, fait par Iean du Tille", "To. II. Contenant les guerres et traictez de paix, trefues et alliances, d'entre les rois de France & d'Angleterre" and "Suite de la chronique abbregee... [etc.]" have part-titles dated 1606.
Page 424 of the second numeration (Sign. Ggggggij) is followed by Iiiiii-Zzzzzz 4[superscript], AA-RR4[superscript], SS8[superscript], TT6[superscript], (all without pagination). Pagination then commences at 272 (VV). Sign. Rrrriij overprinted on Hhhhh; Rrrr4 has the signature Hhhhhhij. The following pages are wrongly numbered as indicated in squares: 11 [10], 19 [16], 27 [67], 38 [32], 54 [48], 84 [48], 97-99 [101-3], 102-3 [106-7], 201 [200], 205 [185], 354 [358], 368 [358], 396 [395], 73 (Kkkk) [61], 95 (Mmmmiij) [65], 169 (Xxxx4109], 221 (Eeeeeij) [211], 242 (Ggggg4), [241], 293 (Oooooij) [362], 380 (Aaaaaa) [358], 289 (YY) [279], 389 (LLLij), [189].

The "Recueil des roys de France" was first published under the title "Mémoires et recherches touchant plusieurs choses mémorables pour l'intelligence de l'estat" (Rouen, 1577). To subsequent editions were added the other works of the present edition, cf. Brunet, Manuel du libraire. The "Chronique abbregée" was first published in Latin (1539) under the title "De regibus... francorum chronicon" and in French (1549) under the title "La chronique des roys de France, puis Pharamond jusques au roy Henry second".
