Description

There were apparently three issues of this 1677 edition, all from one setting of type, which differ only in the title page. Cf. Morris, p. 45; Wing C4669 ("For Nath. Brooke"); Wing C4671 ("For Robert Harford").


"The epistle dedicatory" is signed on A5 verso "J.L. S.D." The editors have been identified as John Lake and Samuel Drake.

A variant has the intials on A5 verso incorrectly as: "J.L. W.D."


With engraved frontispiece portrait of the author reading "Printed for Nat. Brooke at the Angel in Cornhill".
