The first part (135 p.) has running title: To all Christian monarches, free princes and states.


The second part (112 p.) has title: "Triplici nodo, triplex cuneus. Or An apologie for the oath of allegiance. Against the two breues of Pope Pavlvs Qvintvs, and the late letter of Cardinall Bellarmine to G. Blackvvel the arch-priest", and was first published anonymously in 1607.
