The "mythological picture", probably of 1st cent. A.D. "makes no pretence to be by" Cebes; ascribed to him by a mere error -- Oxf. Class. Dict.
The catchwords, signatures and pagination have been rationalised with Gataker and Dacier preceding the main work, and the headline errors corrected.
