Description

The translation of Frances Sheridan's 'The history of Nourjahad' is by Madame de Sérionne.


A reissue of 'Nourjahad, histoire orientale', "A Francfort, et se trouve à Paris, chez Gauguery", 1769, with the original titlepage, sig. A1 (pp. 1-2) and sig. Fiij (pp. 125-126) cancelled in favour of a cancel titlepage, cancel sig. A1, and two leaves following Fij (the second leaf signed F) which provide a drop-head title for the second part into which the work has now been divided.
